The purpose of this requisition is to gather a resource pool of candidates that will go through the hiring process. Candidate will remain in the pool until a position becomes available.
JOB SUMMARY:
Plan and facilitate contingency personnel travel activities. Plan for and determine the tactical necessity of using established procedures as well as unconventional options for contingent personnel transportation.Maintain tactical responsibility for tracking personnel movement activities. Act as liaison between project manager, employee and customer. Develop plans that include work schedule, travel options and contingency plans for assignment of personnel. Maintain informational databases to plan and track transportation operations using all modes of transportation. Develop logistics plans in order to ensure timely response for support requests. Follow established policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control. Respond to and provide the necessary support requests from forward operating base(s). Exercise oversight of all contingent travel.

KNOWLEDGE, Skills and Abilities:
Considerable knowledge of the job. Complete acquaintance with and understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the job, and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered.
A pleasant “can do” customer service attitude
Present a professional appearance at all times in a deployed environment
Attention to detail and ability to quickly and efficiently solve problems with travel coordination
Able to work in an office environment and communicate well with others in a high pressure environment
Work irregular hours
Able to learn the customers operating system (Prior experience would be preferable)
Able to meet the physical demand lifting luggage on and off a luggage van (up to 100 pounds), able to drive a travel bus and or luggage van
Able to meet the training requirements

MIN EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of related experience.
Consideration will be given to relevant professional experience commensurate with assignment.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
Does not supervise This position requires a Top Secret Security Clearance w/ Full Scope Polygraph
