This is a short-term position of 36 days, with an estimated timeframe of approximately June 1, 2017, to July 12, 2017. This assignment is based in Kabul. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
Develop work plan to include all Year 1 deliverables of the CBA contract
Formulate payroll working group and, with the CCN payroll systems lead and the MOE, outline the working group’s Year 1 activities, assignments, and deadlines
Participate in coalition workshop in Kabul with CBA staff, leadership from provincial education directorates and district education offices in target provinces, and systems improvement technical expert team
Develop assessment design for evaluating the payroll system at the central and subnational levels
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in education-related field preferred
Minimum eight years of relevant work experience with payroll systems
Direct experience developing, drafting, and implementing relevant USAID project deliverables at the senior technical level preferred
Technical expertise related to payroll systems, including experience collaborating with project staff
Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
Experience in Afghanistan preferred
