General description of the position
You’ll be responsible for the successful implementation and (Management) supervision of programmes (and support department) in the intervention area according to humanitarian needs.
In particular, you’ll be in charge of:
Analyse the political, economic, social, military (security) and humanitarian context of the area
Effectively direct the definition of the base strategy
Ensure successful completion of project objectives
Coordinate the activities of ACF with those of other stakeholders
Manage the security of ACF Staff present at the base
Do you fit the requested profile ?
You have :
A Master’s degree or equivalent and at least 3 years’ experience with humanitarian NGO, with at least 2 year in a managerial role and 1 year in security volatile context, previous ACF experience would be a real advantage
Technical knowledge of standard logistics, financial and HR procedures and practices , knowledge regarding program management on the field, a substantial knowledge of security management
Interpersonal, organizational, multitasking and communication skills and a high capacity of work, able to overcome stress and work under pressure, with high degree of flexibility
Size of the team over 100 staff and only 2 expatriates
Projects (WASH, NUT, MHCP,FSL, ERM)
Relatively secure area but quite isolated.
